Yoga & Mindfulness for Mental Health and Wellbeing
I am a Teacher and a mum of two beautiful girls.
My experience of mental illness began at University, when I had my first serious bout of anxiety based depression. This period of my life was a confusing, but also pivotal time on my journey. When I was in Rome, as part of a year out (I nearly didn't take!), I decided I was going to start looking after myself and experimented for the first time with deep breathing and exercise. The results were profound. I experienced a peace, simplicity, and connection to everything that completely changed the course of my life. I realised for the first time, how much of our suffering is self created and how beneath everything is love.
I began to look for systematic ways to calm the mind and the nervous system, and my search led me to the science of Yoga. I am committed to inspiring individuals to turn up their own light - and tap into the greatest power of transformation and healing on the planet, within ourselves.

I am fully qualified and insured British Wheel of Yoga Hatha and Kundalini Yoga teacher. I teach tailored evidence based protocols for specific mental health issues including stress, anxiety and depression. I have completed yoga therapy and mindfulness training for anxiety, depression, addictions and PTSD with the Minded Institute in London. I currently work on the acute psychiatric ward at the Priory Hospital Hayes Grove. As a Yoga for the Mind practitioner, I run an 8 week yoga and mindfulness course in Kent.
I am passionate about bringing yoga and mindfulness into community health care system. I work closely with Bromley Mind to delivery their MIndful Mums workshops and I teach the Yoga for the Mind course at the Recovery College.
